Government motion on the conduct of House business

A government motion under Standing Order 16 (4) that further defers an already deferred division to the start of the next sitting's Orders of the Day, and defers any division taken in Section B that day.

Standing Order 16(4) lets the House put off a recorded division on a debatable motion to a fixed later time. The deferral is done by a government motion, moved without notice and decided at once without amendment or debate; the practice is to agree the time between the caucuses before a division is called and to move the motion only when no agreement is reached. This motion deferred an already deferred division a second time, to the start of Orders of the Day at the next sitting, and deferred any division taken that day in Section B, one of the sections in which the Committee of Supply sits.
